MACOMB COUNTY ~ A jury found an ex-Warren cop not guilty of manslaughter stemming from a high-speed crash he was involved in that killed two people.
James Burke, 30, was on duty and driving at over 100 miles per hour without his emergency sirens on when he collided with a vehicle that had Cedric Hayden Jr., 34, and DeJuan Pettis, 33, inside, the prosecution argued. However, the jury found Burke not guilty following deliberations on Wednesday and Thursday.
