Trump Travels to China for Summit with Xi Amid Tense Geopolitical Atmosphere

CHINA ~ President Donald Trump touched down in Beijing on Wednesday for a two-day visit with Chinese President Xi Jinping amid global tensions and tariff battles.

The two superpower leaders are expected to talk about tariffs, Taiwan, and trade policies, with hopes of investments being established by China. This summit comes as the U.S. and Iran enforce blockades in the Strait of Hormuz amid a fragile ceasefire, with China one of Iran’s top allies.

Several CEOs will travel with Trump for the summit. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Apple CEO Tim Cook will be among the top guests of Trump’s trip.
