DETROIT, MICH. ~ Former Grosse Pointe native Jamie Ding is still rolling on the trivia show “Jeopardy!,” extending his winning streak to 28 games. After narrowly winning Tuesday night, Ding finished the evening with $21,601.
The Grosse Pointe North product has accumulated $774,601 in prize money during his five-plus-week streak, according to The Jeopardy! Fan. If Ding wins five more games, he would pass James Holzhauer for fourth most in the history of the show.
Ding will have to win 46 more games in a row to tie host Ken Jennings’ all-time record. He will be back for a chance at 29 straight wins Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. on WDIV-TV (Channel 4).
