DETROIT, MICH. ~ After over two hours of delays, the Detroit Tigers pulled together a three-run ninth inning comeback to come out with a 10-9 win, sweeping the series against the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park Thursday afternoon. With the victory, Detroit has managed to claim six in a row, bringing their record to 10-9. Pinch hitter Colt Keith came up with the biggest hit of the game in the bottom of the ninth to score left fielder Riley Greene, but catcher Dillon Dingler arguably had the best day at the plate, blasting a two-run home run and a double to boost the Tigers. Detroit will head to Boston for a four-game series that starts Friday night at 7:15 p.m.
