Israel bombed Iran’s South Pars gasfield on Wednesday, triggering a response from Iran, which launched missiles and drones at natural gas facilities in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The major escalations sent Brent crude oil prices over $115 a barrel and the U.S. national average gas price to $3.884, according to AAA.
