UNITED STATES ~ Oil and gas prices are rapidly rising after all-out war erupted in the Middle East over the weekend, with crude oil possibly passing $100 a barrel during the conflict.
Prices motorists will see at the gas pumps will depend on how long the war drags on, with a prolonged war meaning higher prices. In retaliation for U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, the latter has closed off the Strait of Hormuz, where a fifth of the global oil supply passes through, furthering oil supply disruptions.
