MILAN, ITALY ~ Curling has been at the center stage of the 2026 World Olympics, but not for the right reasons. The Canadian men’s and women’s curling team, along with the British men’s team, have been accused by multiple different parties of double-touching the stone after the release, which is against the rules. The accusations arose from a Swedish competitor last Friday, as well as umpires over the course of the Games. Canada has a long, successful history in the sport, but has not performed the way that the country’s fans have come to expect this year.
