MICHIGAN ~ A second, more extreme Arctic blast is expected to hit Michigan in late January.
Temps may run 10–20°F below normal for 1–2 weeks, with wind chills possibly reaching –35°F in parts of Michigan, according to MLive. The current cold temperatures are from a jet‑stream dip, not the polar vortex itself, though a true polar vortex disruption may still be coming, making things colder. Lake‑effect snow is still likely, though major storms are not likely at this time.
