DETROIT, MI ~ Iran is in the midst of a bloody protest, as at least 2,677 have been killed, according to the Associated Press. The Iran regime also shut its internet off on Jan. 8 in attempt to silence those who have been speaking out. United States President Donald Trump has not been silent though in his support for peaceful protesters, stating that his administration will “act accordingly” in response to the Iran government. Erfan Omid Najafabadi, a Michigan State University PhD student, shared some perspective on “‘JR Morning,” highlighting that the U.S. has had successful interventions overseas in the past.
