WASHINGTON D.C. ~ President Donald Trump made a primetime national address on television Wednesday night, defending his second term so far and announcing that all military members would receive $1,776 bonuses. He defended his economic policies, such as his heavy use of tariffs and claims of addressing the high cost of living, even as a recent poll from NPR and Marist shows that just 36% of U.S. residents approve of the economy under Trump.
