The Food and Drug Administration announced Monday that hormone treatment for menopause symptoms would remove its black box warning on packaging. Medication for hormone replacement therapy has had this warning for decades, after studies suggested the treatment could be linked to the development of ailments like breast cancer and heart attacks.
