NEW YORK CITY, May 30, 2024 ~ In a historic criminal trial, former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in his hush money trial, becoming the first former president to be convicted of a crime.

During its second day of deliberation, the New York jury determined he was guilty of felony charges of falsifying business records to disguise hush-money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to keep her silent about an affair with Trump before the 2016 election. His national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, posted on X that, “THIS IS A RIGGED CASE.”

Trump’s sentencing case was scheduled for July 11 by the judge, with possible punishments including fines, probation, or jail time, with the conviction possibly bringing four years behind bars, though it is unclear how likely the last outcome could happen.
