LANSING, May 2, 2024 ~ Prosecutors from the Michigan Attorney General’s Office recently conducted search warrants with Google and X, formerly Twitter, for hundreds of files related to a prominent pro-Trump lawyer.

The warrant asked for emails and private messages from lawyer Kenneth Chesebro related to Attorney General Dana Nessel‘s probe into a fake elector scheme to overturn the 2020 election for former President Donald Trump, with over a dozen GOP members charged in the probe. Though not charged, Cheseboro has been accused of helping organize the fake elector plot.
