Game On! NFL PLAY 60 Clinic Kicks Off Pre-Draft Festivities in Detroit

DETROIT, April 24, 2024 ~ NFL Draft prospects and Special Olympics athletes participated in a Play Football Prospect Clinic today at the Corner Ballpark in Detroit.

The event, which was the first in a series of pre NFL Draft promotional events for prospects, challenged kids to a flag football game and select athletic activities as a part of the NFL PLAY 60 campaign.

Participating NFL Draft prospects, including former North Carolina State quarterback Drake Maye, former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., and former Louisiana State University wide receiver Malik Nabers, participated alongside a selection of Special Olympics Michigan athletes.

(CONTINUED) Now in it’s 17th season, NFL PLAY 60 helps promote healthy lifestyles for young people by encouraging them to participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day. Through PLAY 60, the NFL has invested more than $350 million in youth health and fitness programs, grants, and public service announcements.

The Corner Ballpark, which was built on the former site of Tigers Stadium, will play host to a number of attractions during the NFL Draft, including food trucks, youth activities, flag football clinics, and an NFL Draft watch party.
