WASHINGTON D.C., April 8, 2024 ~ Three U.S. representatives from Michigan have signed a letter calling on President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to pause arms transfers to Israel after the country killed seven aid workers in an airstrike.

Democrat Reps. Dan Kildee (MI-8), Debbie Dingell (MI-6), and Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) joined 40 other House members in singing the letter dated April 5, about six months into Israel’s military operation into the Gaza Strip following the Hamas attacks on Oct. 7. With over 33,000 people dead since the military onslaught began, Israel has faced mounting international pressure and criticism over civilian deaths, including the recent killing of the seven World Central Kitchen aid workers.
