Michigan High Schooler Authors Book on Investing

March 29, 2024 ~ Most high school seniors are thinking about prom, graduation, and college, but one 18-year-old senior at Seaholm High School is thinking about investing and he wrote a book to help teens learn about investment strategies and finance.

Ian Weinberg is the author of “Invest Early to Grow Your Wealth” and his savvy insights earned him an appearance on CNBC‘s Power Lunch show, where he talked about his philosophy of investing. Weinberg started investing amid boredom during the pandemic, so he took some money he had saved from his part-time job and his Bar Mitzvah and with his dad’s help, selected some stocks that were of interest to him. He saw success and knew fellow teens would be interested too.
