PONTIAC, March 18, 2024 ~ To the jury foreman in James Crumbley‘s trial, it was the manner in which the father stored his gun is what made him guilty.

The foreman gave an anonymous interview with the Detroit Free Press following the conclusion of Crumbley’s trial last Thursday, where he was found guilty on four charges of involuntary manslaughter stemming from his son’s 2021 shooting at Oxford High School that killed four students. The jury foreman said the fact that Crumbley did not store the gun in a lockable gun safe led him to his decision.
