DETROIT, March 6, 2023 ~ former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden both took major steps yesterday towards securing their respective party nominations, each turning in near sweeps of the 16 states and one territory that held primaries and caucuses Tuesday.

Through dogged headlines and low approval rating, President Biden managed to maintain wins that averaged roughly 80% of the vote. Signs of fracture among loyalists do however continue for the President, with “uncommitted” protest votes over the war in Gazza reaching as high as 20% in one state. Biden also had a single loss, taking second place to entrepreneur Jason Palmer in the territory of American Samoa
