PONTIAC, March 5, 2024 ~ Jury selection began Monday for James Crumbley‘s manslaughter trial, nearly a month after his wife Jennifer was found guilty on similar charges.

James Crumbley is facing four counts of involuntary manslaughter related to his son’s 2021 shooting at Oxford High School that killed four students and injured seven others, with prosecutors saying he played a role in the shooting by buying his son a firearm and failing to address his son’s mental health issues. Potential jurors were questioned about their thoughts on guns and their experiences with interacting with people who have mental illnesses.
