CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI, March 5, 2024 ~ A series of explosions and a massive fire at a distribution facility rocked Macomb County Monday evening, killing one person and injuring another.

Debris was launched around the surrounding area, with a 19-year-old bystander being killed after a canister of combustible material shot out from the fire and struck him. Clinton Township Fire Chief Tim Duncan said it is currently believed that the explosions were the result of a fire at a building that housed Goo, a tobacco smoke shop, and  Select Distributors, a vape parts supplier, which housed butane, nitrous, lighter fluid, and about 100,000 vape pens. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
