PONTIAC, MI, Feb. 1, 2024 ~ The involuntary manslaughter trial of Jennifer Crumbley saw more revelations of the nature of her relationship with her son, Ethan, before he killed four of his classmates.

The trial continued Thursday with testimony from Oakland County Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Timothy Willis, who found Ethan Crumbley’s journal in his backpack that contained phrases such as “I have zero help for my mental problems and it’s causing me to shoot up the f—–g school” and “I want help but my parents don’t listen to me and I can’t get any help” written in its pages. The trial will determine if Jennifer Crumbley is responsible for her son’s 2021 shooting at Oxford High School that killed four students and injured seven others.
