Biden to Appear in Michigan Thursday for UAW Event

MICHIGAN, Jan. 31, 2024 ~ President Joe Biden will visit metro Detroit on Thursday, Feb. 1 for a UAW event shortly after the union’s president, Shawn Fain, endorsed the president, his first visit to the Mitten state since September.

Biden’s visit comes about a month before Michigan‘s presidential primary elections on Feb. 27., and during a time of polling struggles for Biden largely stemming from his stance on Israel‘s military campaign on Gaza. No details on a time or place for his visit have been revealed.
