Josh Schriver (R-Oxford) in a Twitter Space meeting with other Michigan and Ohio lawmakers, referring to gender-affirming care. “Why would we stop this for anyone under 18, but not apply this for anyone over 18? States across the U.S. have seen heightened legislation targeting the rights of transgender people in recent years, with almost 600 anti-trans bills introduced in 2023 and over 400 so far in 2024.
