DETROIT, Dec. 22, 2023 ~ Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores recently donated over 10,000 toys through the Toys for Tots program that will distribute them to many metro Detroit families.

Bicycles, scooters, and headphones will be distributed to families in Detroit, Flint, other and surrounding neighborhoods this holiday season. Balance bikes with helmets will be gifted to all children under three years old, children aged 4-7 will receive bicycles with training wheels and helmets, children aged 8-10 will receive scooters and LEGO sets and those aged 11-13 will receive wireless headphones.

This should be a special time of year for kids and their families, filled with hope and anticipation,” Gores said. “Every child deserves that sense of wonder and excitement that builds during the holidays, and to have the chance to open something that brings a smile to their face. We started this initiative 17 years ago and have been blessed to work with incredible partners who are committed to being impactful in our communities. We are grateful for their support.
