OAKLAND COUNTRY, MI, Dec. 8, 2023 ~ Ethan Crumbley, the Oxford High School mass shooter, was sentenced to life without parole Friday afternoon for killing his classmates Hana St. Juliana, Tate Myre, Madisyn Baldwin, and Justin Shilling.

After victim testimonies concluded, Oakland County Judge Kwame Rowe delivered the verdict, having decided Crumbley could face life in prison with parole in late September. The judge said when delivering his verdict that Crumbley could have changed his mind before shooting his classmates and that the shooting was planned.

He wanted to see the impact of his crime,” Rowe said of Crumbley. “He chose not to die on that day because he wanted the notoriety. The terror that he caused in the state of Michigan and in Oxford is a true act of terrorism.
