WJR’s Mitch Albom to Host 12th Annual SAY Detroit Marathon

TROY, Dec. 6, 2023 ~ WJR‘s Mitch Albom will host the 12th annual SAY Detroit Radiothon from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, from the Somerset Collection in Troy.

The event will raise money for Albom’s SAY Detroit nonprofit, a collection of programs that help Detroit residents with healthcare and housing. The live broadcast will feature touching success stories of the people the group helps, celebrities close to home and across the globe, and uplifting testimonials from community partners.

Special guests will include Motown legend Smokey Robinson, actor Hugh Jackman, rock musician Alice Cooper, and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan.
