Nation’s First Wireless Charging Roadway Opens in Corktown

DETROIT, Dec. 1, 2023 ~ Detroit neighborhood Corktown is now home to the first wireless-charging public roadway for electric vehicles in the U.S., which was unveiled Wednesday on 14th Street near Michigan Central Station. The coil technology that charges the cars was created by Electreon.
