EAST LANSING, Nov. 6, 2023 ~ Michigan State Football defeated Nebraska 20-17 on Saturday, snapping out of a six-game losing streak.

The Spartans showed-out for their Senior Day, claiming a victory against the Cornhuskers despite being considered the underdogs. MSU played their best defense of the year, recording seven sacks and preventing Nebraska from crossing midfield all but once during the second half. Overcoming the quarterback dilemma, Katin Houser and Sam Leavitt supported the team, both throwing touchdown passes.

Beyond the Senior Day win, it was also Harlon Barnett‘s first recorded win as interim head coach.

After a rough year, things are finally looking up for the Spartans.
