DETROIT, Oct. 30, 2023 ~ General Motors reached a tentative deal with the UAW Monday morning, the last of Detroit‘s Big Three automakers to reach an agreement with the union after over six weeks of striking.

Sources familiar with the situation told news outlets that the deal was reached after questions were answered over how battery plant workers would be treated under the new contract. The deal is said to be similar to the ones signed by Ford Motor Co. and Stellantis, including a 25% general wage increase and reinstatement of cost-of-living allowances.
