Trump Wants to Visit UAW Picket Line Amidst Strike

WAYNE, Sept. 18, 2023 ~ As the UAW continues to strike against the Big Three automakers, Former President Trump voiced his plan to visit the picket line in Wayne, Michigan.

Trump aims to deliver an “anti-EV” message directed toward blue-collar auto workers, suggesting that the rise of EV’s is putting auto worker’s jobs at risk. In his interview with “Meet the Press,” Trump stated that “the autoworkers are being sold down the river by their leadership,” claiming that the jobs in the United States will be moving to China. Although there has been talk, Donald Trump’s visit to the picket line is to be determined.
