DETROIT, Sept. 14, 2023 ~ After the Detroit Lions upset the Kansas City Chiefs last Thursday, C.J. Gardner-Johnson ignited a fashion trend by wearing a blue ski mask, signifying “It’s not the same Detroit.”
The Lions safety took to social media to urge fans to show up in blue masks to the home opener against the Seattle Seahawks at Ford Field. Lions fans were quick to act and proceeded to sell out the statement blue masks on several online outlets.
