Aug. 20, 2023 ~ After days of legal sparring, Oakland County Circuit Judge Kwamé Rowe said he would decide whether Oxford High School shooter should face life in prison with no chance of parole on Sept. 29.

The debates have been over whether the shooter, Ethan Crumbley, should face this punishment as a minor and whether he is mentally ill. Crumbley, 17, shot and killed four of his fellow students and wounded seven other people in 2021 when he was 15 years old.

Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald spoke on “JR Morning with Guy Gordon” about the ongoing trial.
