Aug. 8, 2023 ~ Two Michigan mayoral races taking place Tuesday could reshape the state’s politics in the coming months.

Democrat state representatives Kevin Coleman and Lori Stone are running for mayor in Westland and Warren respectively, with the primaries taking place Aug. 8. If they were to win, they could temporarily cost their party’s slim majority in the State House.
