The Automate Show 2023 Kicks off in Detroit to Display the Future of Robots

May 22, 2023 ~ One of the largest Detroit trade shows of the year launched today for a view into the of future of automation.

The Automate Show 2023 began Monday, and will continue until Thursday, May 25, at Huntington Place. The show features over 700 exhibitors centered around robots and other automated technologies.

The show dates back to the 1970’s and is put on by the Association for Advancing Automation. Technologies used in aerospace, agriculture, restaurant, electronics and other industries are being displayed at the show.

(CONTINUED) The event was attended by 760 WJR’s Paul W. Smith, who spoke with the President of the Association for Advancing Automation Jeff Burnstein. He said the business and public sector can expect to see robots enter daily life more and more in the coming years.

They are basically tools that help us do our jobs better,” Burnstein said. “It does not have to be a factory. (Robots) can be (in) a restaurant, in a store. Robots are getting in every environment, where they are going to be touching our lives in every way going forward.”
