WASHINGTON DC, February 7, 2021 ~ President Biden is set to give his second State of The Union speech tonight as public concerns rise over the president’s ability to be effective.

Perceptions were quantified this week in an ABC News / Washington Post poll, where four in 10 Americans said that they are worse off than they were when the president took office. The result was a record low that hasn’t been seen in the poll’s 37-year history.

(CONTINUED) This as Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his newly-elected Republican House majority look to take the president to task on a myriad of topics, including the expanding war in Ukraine, the looming debt ceiling debate, and the wayward Chinees spy balloon that some say was allowed to meander over the country for far too long.

With the president’s official reelection campaign announcement expected soon, many observers view tonight’s speech as a make-or-break component to a successful campaign launch.
