DETROIT, December 20, 2021 ~  An employee at Jefferson Middle School in Saint Clair Shores was arrested Friday after leaving inappropriate handwritten notes in faculty areas, at least one of which included a threat against the school.

The staffer, who was reportedly placed on administrative leave, was seen on school surveillance footage planting the notes.

This comes amidst a growing list of threats across the state that have developed in the wake of the Oxford High School shooting. According to Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido, more than 33 charged offenses have occurred in Macomb County, and nearly 40 in Wayne County since the Oxford shooting.
