DETROIT, September 1, 2021 ~ Tuesday, 760 WJR and Guy Gordon, in partnership with the Detroit Economic Club, gave awards to the 2021 Rising Stars, presented by Meijer and Adient. The awards ceremony was held at Andiamo Detroit Riverfront at Detroit’s GM Renaissance Center.
“We are so blessed to have an incredible array of talent in the business community here in the City of Detroit,” said Guy Gordon. “We are celebrating that today with our Rising Stars honorees.”
10 local leaders, all under the age of 40, were awarded for the impact and accomplishments they are making in their industry, community, and family.

“This was a really important initiative because WJR and the Detroit Economic Club wanted to highlight so many great, positive stories coming out of our tremendous talent here in southeast Michigan from the business community,” Detroit Economic Club President & CEO Steve Gregorian told Guy Gordon. “And there are so many young people that are part of the Detroit Economic Club that are doing amazing things in business and in community and it’s important to get their message out.”
