ALLEN PARK, MI, December 16, 2020 ~ The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that former Detroit Lions Defensive MVP Chris Spielman will rejoin the organization as Special Assistant to Chairman Sheila Ford Hamp and President & CEO Rod Wood. In his role, Spielman will assist Hamp and Wood in their search for a new Lions general manager and head coach. Spielman spoke with WJR‘s Mitch Albom to give some insight as to how the search process is likely to proceed.
