President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani is scheduled to appear today before the Michigan House Oversight Committee. He has repeatedly been raising claims of wrongdoing in the November election in the state. Republican Committee chairman Matt Hall said this will be an opportunity to hear directly from Giuliani on his allegations that there was significant fraud in Michigan. Democratic House Minority leader Christine Greig said by allowing Giuliani to testify, ‘Republicans are advancing the Trump campaign’s efforts to undermine the election and erode public confidence in our democracy.’
