Thanksgiving Travel Concerns

Even as crowds continue to grow at Detroit’s Metro Airport, Michigan health officials were reporting 11,511 new cases of the corona virus and another 65 deaths. 53 additional cases were reported in schools from pre-kindergarten through the university level. The state has now set six straight weeks of a record number of new cases.

There are growing concerns as to what next week’s figures will show. More than one million passengers a day packed airports across the country over the weekend, ignoring pleas from health officials not to travel for Thanksgiving. This coming Sunday is expected to be the busiest travel day of the holiday period.
