The state reports 5 more deaths from corona virus and more than 300 new cases. The numbers are down as many county health departments are not working for the holiday.
More than 33,000 patients have recovered from the virus in Michigan. Fewer than 1,000 people are in the hospital with the virus. One-third are on ventilators.
5.8 percent of the current cases are hospitalized. The state says the average age of those who have died is 75.
