Time is running short for General Motors salaried workers considering a buyout offer.
The deadline for accepting the offer is Monday.
The automaker announced on October 31st that it was offering a voluntary severance program to its 18-thousand salaried employees in North America who have 12 or more years experience.
Those who take the buyout will have until the end of the year to continue with GM.
The severance would be effective on January 1st.
