Who is City official X?
A Detroit woman is charged with bribing a Detroit city official with money and other valuables.
53 year old Elisa Brubbs is named in the federal court criminal information, which indicates a guilty plea is expected.
The city official who received bribes is not identified in the criminal information filed against Grubbs. Instead, the court documents refer to someone as “City Official X.”
A federal grand jury has been investigating Detroit city councilman Gabe Leland. Leland is not named in the latest court filing.
