Police in the downriver area say a man is in custody for a double-murder in Flat Rock.
Neighbors say an 8 year old boy found the bodies of his grandparents, 59 year old Cathy Markowski and 56 year old Mark Harris. They were found shot to death in their home on Chinook street. Their car was missing. It didn’t take police long to track it down.
Customs and Border patrol spotted the car in Trenton, where police arrested a man in his 50”s who is reported to be a relative of the dead man. Police are not answering questions about the arrest, or a suspected motive.
