Police say 14 year old Kumani Tolbert of Warren attacked a girl in a stairwell of Lincoln High School November 28th. The assault took 20 minutes. The girl fought back. The attack was recorded on school surveillance video.
Van Dyke school district says they’re doing all they can for the victim and her family.
Chief Dwyer says he thinks the teen attacker has done this before. He is being charged as an adult because of the severity of the assault. Tolbert is due in court today.
