A hi speed police chase and a crash ends with two people arrested in Southfield. The suspects were involved in a wheel theft ring, according to police.
The chase started in the Reuther Freeway at Woodward. The suspects may have been trying to steal wheels and hub caps in Royal Oak. The vehicle being chased ran off the road, smashed thru a fence, hit trees, a sign, and hit another fence. The vehicle is totaled. Police say this is part of an investigation into numerous thefts of wheels off of cars.
