One person has been hit and killed in a pedestrian accident in Sterling Heights. Police say it happened at NB Mound Road north of Metro Parkway. Police say a person was walking along Mound Road when the person was hit. Police say the victim was dead at the scene. Police say the driver stopped and tried to help.
SB lanes of Mound Road were not affected. Police have not released the name of the victim. They continue their investigation. The NB lanes of Mound Road were closed between Metro Parkway and 17 Mile Road.
