The man accused of sprinkling hand cleaner and mice poison on food in grocery stores has been charged with four counts of poisoning. The FBI says Kyle Bessemer struck at several stores over the last two weeks. At first it was thought Bessemer had only contaminated food at an Ann Arbor grocery store, but officials say he confessed to spreading the mixture at several locations.
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Health and Human Services are working with the FBI on this investigation. Officials are urging people to throw away any food they bought from the salad bars at the affected stores. These store may have been targeted:
