Lorenzo Harris was sentenced Wednesday for speeding down a Detroit street and killing two children playing on a side walk last summer. Lorenzo Harris was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of 6-year-old Michael and his 3-year-old sister Makiah. He will get 30-60 years in prison.
The children had been playing on the sidewalk near their home on Nottingham in June of last year when Harris lost control of his car and smashed into the children and then fled the scene. Today the children’s mother told Harris the depth of her loss is endless….
