Darnell Earley the former Emergency Manager for Flint and the current Emergency Manager for Detroit Public Schools has been called to testify next week before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight. The panel is examining the Flint water crisis and the Environmental Protection Agency’s administration of the Safe Drinking Water act in Flint. Early was the EM when the decision was make to leave the Detroit water system and the city of Flint began taking water from the Flint River. Other EPA officials are also being called to testify. The hearing will be Wednesday, February 3.
